Terms & Conditions
Terms and conditions are here to ensure you as the customer know what to expect and can agree accordingly when placing your order. By an order being placed you are automatically accepting the terms and conditions below. If you don't accept please don't place an order, it may be that resin isn't the right option for you.
Turn Around Times
My turnaround times for all items that contain your preserved flowers is around 20 weeks however this is a guideline only. Resin has many elements that can extend the turn around time such as additional sanding, additional top coats etc, the flowers alone take 4 weeks to dry fully before the resin process can begin and then it all depends on workload at the time as I only do a small handful at a time to ensure they have my full care and attention. Whilst I understand you will be excited to get your items back I also want to make sure iv'e made them to the best of my ability and therefore will not rush any order to meet a specific time frame, after all they will be displayed for years to come!
Resin Elements
Resin begins as a liquid form and takes a lot of care, skill and attention to preserve your items. It is completely natural for final products to contain air bubbles (although I work my magic to reduce as many as possible) I have yet to find any resin artist who can make completely bubble free due to the nature of resin, Likewise it is natural for final items to contain small imperfections such as micro holes although I do my very best to minimise these. The sides of your final items will likely have layer lines, this is because resin can only be poured at a maximum of 2cm at a time then has to set hard before the next layer, this results in fine lines but isn't classed as an imperfection.
Refunds
As every item is made exclusively for my customers using their own flowers I do not offer refunds or exchanges. If there is a major defect with your item please contact me as soon as possible and I will try my best to rectify it but I quality check all items before posting them.
Flower Changes
Your flowers are likely to be sent to me fresh and it's important to know that all flowers must be dried by myself before they are placed into resin as resin can't contain any moisture. During the drying process it is perfectly normal for flowers to:
Change colour
Change shape
Every flower even from the same bouquet dries differently so I am unable to say exactly how yours will change. By ordering you accept your flowers may contain changes to varying extents and that this is all part of the preservation process.
